The Lantech T(P)ES-3008T (OS2 Pro platform) is available for basic and standard variants. It’s a compact router switch designed for rail, metro and vehicle 24V input Ethernet switch systems. It features 8 10/100TX ports w/M12 X-coded (Push-Pull** lock connectors IEC 61076-2010), along with 8 PoE 802.3af/at Ethernet ports (PoE model). The switch offers Layer 2 management, NAT, Ignition PoE timer off***, unique AUTO-FEED configuration, MQTT, advanced security functions and Health diagnostic snapshot maintenance to ensure reliable and easy onboard network deployment. It’s WebGUI and complete CLI interface*** make configuration straightforward for all skill levels. Additionally, the OPEN API document format enhances central management efficiency, making it ideal for fleet management and AIoT applications. Compliance with EN50155, ITxPT*, and E-marking certifications rest assured the product meets world-class standards for vehicle, rail onboard performance and reliability.


Rugged Design with Dual Power Inputs and Enhanced Protection

The T(P)ES-3008T is designed with dual redundant power inputs supporting both 9-36VDC (24VI) and 16.8-56VDC (24TVI), providing flexibility for vehicle and rail power architectures. It complies with ISO 16750-2 and includes features such as:

  • High ESD protection
  • Inrush current limitation
  • Reverse polarity protection
  • Galvanic isolation to shield from transients

Intelligent PoE with Scheduling and Auto-Recovery

With a PoE budget of up to 80W, this switch supports intelligent PoE management, including:

  • PD detection and auto-reboot
  • Scheduling based on user-defined timetables
  • Per-port power monitoring (voltage, current, power, temp.)
  • Galvanic isolation on both PoE and Ethernet for added safety

The IGN model offers a programmable PoE ignition timer for remote port power control (30s to 60min), eliminating the need for external relay wiring. It also supports the ITxPT Xstatus protocol for real-time switch status reporting.


Cybersecurity and IEC 62443 Compliance*
To safeguard onboard networks, the T(P)ES-3008T incorporates:

  • DDoS prevention
  • 802.1X authentication
  • Dynamic ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard, and Port Security

The optional IEC 62443-4-2*** cybersecurity package includes over 90 protections, such as vulnerability assessments, encryption, root of trust, secure boot, and tamper detection.
