The SCM187-4R8EI-184EVK is an evaluation kit for the SMARC v2.1 SoM based on the NXP i.MX 8M Mini 1.6GHz SoC. It offers 4GB LPDDR4 system memory and 8GB eMMC storage. The kit features connectivity options such as RS-232 and RS-485 ports, USB 2.0 ports, GbE LAN ports, and a dual-channel 24-bit LVDS display interface.
It includes CANBus, I2C, SPI, and GPIO interfaces, as well as storage options with an onboard eMMC and micro SD slot. The kit supports expansion with a PCIe x4 slot and offers optional TPM 2.0 security. It operates on 12V-24V DC-in, has an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, and comes in a compact form factor of approximately 146 x 102 mm.
