The Lantech IPGS-0016 is a high performance 16 10/100/1000T industrial Ethernet switch with w/16 PoE 802.3af/at ports. The unmanaged PoE Ethernet switch is equipped with P.S.E capacity. It is designed for data communication within vehicles, to facilitate data transfer and Ethernet connectivity as well as expandability. The IPGS-0016-24V accepts dual power input of 9~36VDC and is compliant with ISO 7637-2 which protects switch from being damaged by high voltage that could be found at vehicle cranky start.
Hardened Industrial Design with Dual Power Inputs and Enhanced Protection
The unit provides ±2000V EFT and ±6000V ESD protection, which can reduce unstable situation caused by power line and Ethernet. It has high reliability and robustness coping with extensive EMI/RFI phenomenon, environmental vibration and shocks usually found in Automation, transportation, Wireless backhaul, Semi-conductor factory and assembly lines. The unit is also designed with dual redundant power inputs supporting 44~56VDC (48V model) or 9~36VDC (24V model). Other features include:
- ±2000 VDC EFT and ±6000 VDC ESD protection
- Widened temperature range of -40°C~75°C / -40°F~167°F (-E model)
- Galvanic isolation to shield from transients
PoE Functionality
This switch supports a PoE budget of up to 240W at 48V input, 100W at 24V input and 80W at 12V input and includes the following PoE aspects:
- 10/100/1000T: 16 x ports RJ-45 with Auto MDI/MDI-X function
- Power & P-Fail connector: 1 x 6-pole terminal block
- Up to 30W per port
- Compliant with 802.3 af/at standard
